This 8 oz. extended 4" 9mm/.45 ACP buffer is designed with extra weight and length for use in carbine receiver extensions.

It's extended length helps prevent the bolt catch from breaking and does not require the use of a buffer spacer.

The extra weight increases reliability, while reducing recoil and wear on internal parts.
